Department of Sociology at Govt. Degree College, Chinyalisaur was established in 2001. It forms an important branch of Arts stream which deals
with the people and their society. Presently, it offers only under graduate course in which student learn various aspects of sociology like
sociological theories, gender sensitization, society through the visual, theory and practices of development, religion and society, marriage,
family and kinship, gender and sexuality, polity and society in India and many more.
