The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 2016 with the introduction of Bachelor of Science course. Mathematics is one of the most ancient sciences of the world and has wide applications in various fields of study and research. The three year undergraduate study course in Mathematics provides a firm foundation in the techniques of modern mathematics. The course content of this program is meticulously prepared to promote the application of mathematics to physical problems and emphasize on the intrinsic unity through mathematics. This course would produce graduates who possess analytical and mathematical skills to find solutions to the complex problems of business, accounting and engineering and are computer literate.

At the end of the programme, students shall acquire sound analytical and practical knowledge to formulate and solve technical and non-technical problems and shall be well prepared to take up jobs in software industries, banking industries and research and development organizations or pursue higher studies in mathematics.
