Department of Political Science
The Department of Political Science is functioning since the inception of the college. The department is one of the important departments of the
Humanities as, presently maximum number of students are studying Political Science at UG level. The department desires and aims to create an
engaging atmosphere for the students for exposing the students and also provide them an opportunity to interact with the scholars and experts of
the various aspects of political science, international relations and research methodology. The focus of the regional issues has been on
development administration, local self-government (both rural & urban) and issues and concerns like livelihood in the mountains, ecological and
environmental issues, sustainable development, good governance, woman issues ,Peoples participation, Uttarakhand development etc.
