Department of Chemistry was established in 2016 to teach the undergraduate students of B.Sc. The Department was also responsible for Environmental Studies. Apart from course curriculum, workshops and interactions with industry officials are other important components of the course. Equal importance is given to both practical and theoretical methods of learning. Industrial Projects, Group Discussions, Seminars etc. Are organized to enhance the students’ understanding of the subject. The course is helpful in fulfilling the demand of trained human resource to give thrust to the ever increasing chemical industry and allied fields. The course content and teaching methodology enables the student to tackle problems independently and equip them to accept the new challenges in the thrust areas.
