Department of Economics at Govt. Degree College, Chinyalisaur was established in 2001.Under CBCS system, it offers only under graduate programme. Modern techniques of Remote Sensing are being used to study landforms, mountain development and environmental degradation. At present the department is contributing significantly in various aspects like Physical, Human, & Economical geography, regional, planning & development, rural development, ecological & environmental conservation, Disaster Management etc.
